Welcome inn dinner

Ordering dinner at the inn (with a corner side Silly Clown)

The Welcome Inn is an inn in Tarna hosted by Janna Jamil.

Background[]

It is located up the stairs from the bazaar, next to the apothecary. The hero can sleep in a room upstairs, which has been paid for by Kreesha. The inn also offers eating meals at a price of one Royal.

Over the course of the hero's adventures, if he sits down and order a meal, he may encounter Khatib Mukar'ram, the survivor ambassador to the Leopardmen

Behind the scenes[]

Janna money

Janna just charges Kreesha if the hero has no money

While Kreesha already pays for the room, she can be made to pay for food and drinks too, thus never running out of them.

If the hero has no local money - either because he didn't pay the Money Changer or simply has an empty purse - Janna just gives him meals for free on Kreesha's expense, while losing neither Paladin nor Honor points for it.

Bedroom's magic usage and law[]

The hero's bedroom in the Inn is one of the only places where those with Magic abilities and skills can practice spells within the city of Tarna. The other place is inside Kreesha's house.

While Tarna's laws (which are posted the the inn) technically only forbid magic at the streets, Kreesha stresses it's interpreted as everywhere except the inside of her magic workshop, which is protected by the magical plane.[1][2] As result, practicing magic in sequence in the hero's bedroom costs both Honor and Paladin points.
