Tashtari ("Sunset Glow") is a Katta brass merchant with a stand in the Fountain Plaza of Shapeir. He is brother to Kiram by marriage. He sells lamps, braziers, bottles, lanterns, tea servers and cups.
He had sold his last bottle to Hadji (who said something about a dream of djinni). He provided the Hero with a Brass Lamp for 15 dinars (10 dinars after bargaining) to help defeat the Fire Elemental that attacked the city. However he offers it for free if the Hero tell about fire elemental in order to save the city.
Upon the arrival of the Earth Elemental on Day 12, Tashtari complains that it chased him as he exited his house.
Behind the scenes[]
The game parser recognizes the name Tashtari but when other characters are asked about him, interestingly, they give a generic reply of ignorance. The only exceptions are Saba and Lasham who appear in the same screen. However, everyone mentions Tashtari when asked about lamp or brass.
Tashtari can sell only one lamp to the Hero. If the Hero tries to buy anything else, he will reply that he has none of those today.
