Each game in the series grants points upon completion of certain events, from a maximal pool of points.

Description[]

Since the maximal amount is always shown, this serves as the only direct indication in the series as to whether one completed everything that can be completed, as well as how much of the game is still left to play.

Other than transparency on the user's progress, these points serve no benefits or enhancements.

While most events aren't Class Quests, and can thus be completed in a variety of ways (depending on Abilities and Skills), unfortunately puzzle points might sometimes be granted only if the way that was chosen is related to the user's Class. Notable examples are dealing with the Kobold Wizard and Merv the Griffin.

Trivia[]

Quest for Glory 1 is the only game in the series that actually exports these points - more specifically, just the fact whether the player managed to cross 255 points or not (out of 500), but all games ignore it anyway upon Importing.
