The Prophecy Stone is a dragon-shaped stone roughly the size of a man's hand. It is a magical stone in Quest for Glory 5.
Background[]
The stone was created to seal the Dragon of Doom along with the Dragon Pillars spread around the island of Marete in Silmaria. It was the final piece to keep the dragon sealed in the temple within the Dragon Blood Pool. It was stored in the Royal Palace in Silmaria until its disappearance.
At some point it made it into Erasmus's hands where he kept it in his house in Silmaria for research, until it was stolen while he was in Spielburg.[1]
The stone was "found" (stolen) by Minos, the former advisor to the King of Silmaria. He intended to use the stone to coerce Silmaria into accepting him as King, as his family had once ruled over all of Silmaria, and not just Minos' own island.
However, Logos refused to back down, and Minos returned to his island. The Hero chases him to stop him from destroying the stone. After he defeats Minos' guards and teams up with Elsa von Spielburg, Minos declares that he would rather see Silmaria destroyed if he could not rule it.
He then leaps from the railing, falling on top of the stone. His blood destroys the seal, and the Dragon awakens.
