In How To Be A Hero: By the Book, her last name is Apfelbeere, and apparently Apfelbaum (see "Till Apfelbaum" who become Tilly). An Apfelbeere is a 'chokecherry'. Apfelbaum is German for "apple tree".
In HQ/QFG she was a older matronly middle-aged lady, while in later lore she has been made younger.
